Ritorno brevemente sul pensiero che ho espresso nell’ultimo post.
Lo spunto mi viene dallo spettacolo di Roberto Benigni a cui ho assistito qualche sera fa. Nel suo spettacolo, divertentissimo nella prima parte, riflessivo e a tratti commovente nella seconda in cui parla di Dante, sottolinea l’importanza di sentirsi orgogliosi di appartenere a questa terra.
Credo sia un utile esercizio di autostima quello di prendere coscienza della “grandezza del popolo italiano, che ha dato tanto al mondo, eppure oggi vive una fase di sonnolenza o, per riprendere il sommo poeta, una fase di “ignavia” (il peggiore dei peccati), una fase in cui il popolo italiano non “vive” ma si lascia vivere, un declino in cui l’augurio è che avvenga presto un “novo rinascimento”.
Effettivamente ultimamente abbiamo prodotto solo scandali, veline, calciatori e paparazzi senza scrupoli, ora è arrivato il momento per adoperarsi affinché presto l’Italia torni al timone culturale di questo pianeta: per regalargli cose immense di cui tutti i popoli hanno in qualche modo beneficiato.
